The lottery — double points. Most are domestiques who carry bottles and bury themselves for their leaders. But two or three sneak into the right break on the right day, and you've doubled up on a win nobody saw coming. So pick the restless ones — breakaway-minded engines like Nico Denz (grand-tour stage wins from breaks), Georg Zimmermann, Anthon Charmig, Torstein Træen — "always in the move, never the favourite." Not the loyal domestique who'll never show his face at the front.
Munro's verdict: ye cannae win the Tour from a break — but ye can win this contest from one. Spend these picks on ambition, no obligation.
